This course is intended to reinvigorate and encourage anyone who has already completed a First Degree Usui Reiki course, to make Reiki part of their life again.

It’s the ideal course if you have fallen out of the habit of doing Reiki, want to update your skills or refresh your memory. Maybe you attended a Reiki course 10 or 20  years ago but the time wasn’t quite right for you to fully make it part of your life and now you would like to do just that. Or maybe you learned Level 1 in the Japanese style and would like to learn a few techniques from the Western style, or vice versa.

No matter how long ago you completed your Reiki training, you never lose the connection to Reiki. This refresher course will reawaken your love of Reiki.

Reiki Level 1 is mainly about our personal healing and self-development. This refresher course will remind you of the self-healing techniques , meditations, and energy cleansing techniques you would have learned in your Reiki course. It will help you get back into the habit of daily self-treatments and put your back on the path of spiritual awakening.

Please note: I do not offer attunements as part of this course. This course is therefor only for people who have already received the four Level 1 Usui Reiki attunements, in person, from their Reiki Master.

I received my training from Reiki Master Torsten Lange of the Reiki Science Academy in London. Seeing as Torsten trained in both the Usui Western style of Reiki (under RM Penelope Quest) and in the Usui Japanese style of Reiki (under RM Frans Stiene) I also teach a mix of Japanese and Western styles.

In this course I cover

  1. What is Reiki, including a brief overview of the chakra and Japanese energy systems and a bit of energy theory
  2. The Usui Reiki lineage
  3. We look at the attunements process – as already stated I do not give distance attunements as part of this course
  4. The Reiki Principles
  5. The importance of energy cleansing, including demonstrations of three energy cleansing techniques
  6. There are two guided meditations
  7. I walk you through a few creative uses of Reiki
  8. A big part of this course is spent on the Reiki self-treatments and I demonstrate four self-treatment methods.
  9. You’ll also learn how to offer Reiki treatments to someone sitting, lying down, and even a quick 15-minute Reiki head treatment..

In addition to the course videos I have attached supporting documents. These include the history of Reiki, a handy treatment cheat sheet, the Reiki Principles in Japanese (with phonetic pronunciation, of course), a  summary of the chakra system, and neatly typed instructions for the four self-treatment techniques.
