No, you don’t need an expensive tablet or computer. We know most people in SA do everything on their phones. Our website is built to work perfectly on your cell phone. You can watch your lessons while you’re on the bus or during your break, whenever you have a few minutes to spare.
It is 100% safe and everything is in Rands. You won’t get a surprise on your bank statement because of the exchange rate. We use a local South African system called PayFast, so you can pay with your normal bank card or EFT, just like buying airtime or electricity.
You’ll get a YOUniversity Certificate of Completion to show you’ve finished the work. While this isn’t a government diploma, it is proof that you’ve put in the effort to master a new skill. The real prize is the knowledge you walk away with—things you can actually use to start a business or get a better job. If your course Instructor has accreditation, they can give you a certificate or diploma at the end of the course.
No. We don’t take a cent from you to get started. We only make money when you make money. We take a small part of the course fee to keep the website running, and you keep the rest. If you don’t sell anything, you don’t owe us anything.
If you can send a WhatsApp or post on Facebook, you can do this. We ask you to put your videos on YouTube first because it’s fast and reliable. Then, you just link them to our site. We’ve made it as simple as possible so you can focus on teaching, not fighting with technology.
Yes, it’s your hard work and your wisdom. You aren’t “selling” your course to us; you are just using our “digital classroom” to teach. You own your content 100%, and you can change it or take it down whenever you want.
No overseas accounts or PayPal headaches. When students buy your course, the money goes into your instructor account. You can then ask to have it paid straight into your regular South African bank account from your Instructor Dashboard. Payment is local, simple, and fair.
